Corkeys

FOSTERING - Fostering an animal means taking in and caring for a pet on a temporary basis, while the pet is waiting to be adopted.

Introducing Corkeys! Corkeys’ predominant breeds are Australian Cattle Dog and Chihuahua with some other breeds thrown in for good measure. He is 3-years-old and about 25 pounds.

Corkeys walks well on a leash and is house trained, but is not a fan of his crate. He is fine to hang out in the house or in a smaller enclosed area in the house. He is quite the gentleman around furniture and does not jump on the sofa. He enjoys being close to his people and will put himself to bed

Corkeys can be picky with his dog friends. He seems to do best with other dogs who let him be the star of the show. He is also content with being the only dog in the home. He loves to be petted but does have some sensitivities to touch. Don’t worry; he will show you exactly where he wants to be scratched! With his sometimes sassy chihuahua attitude and his cattle dog herding traits, he needs a child-free home.
