Oisin

FOSTERING - Fostering an animal means taking in and caring for a pet on a temporary basis, while the pet is waiting to be adopted.

The name is Oisin – an Irish name meaning “little dear.” I’m hoping my name brings me the luck of the Irish because I’m looking for a home of my own.

I’m about 5-years-old and weigh 60-pounds, so I’m not very little. But as luck would have it, that means more of me to love.

I’m one of those happy dogs who doesn’t meet a stranger, and everyone tells me I’m handsome and a very good boy – check out my great smile. I love attention – belly rubs and ear scratches are just two of my favorites. I have excellent indoor manners, walk politely on my leash, and sleep in a crate if you want (but I prefer to be with my people). I also enjoy car rides while I’m hanging out in the back seat and enjoying the view.

So what’s the catch? There isn’t one – that is, unless you count my case of heartworms. I don’t because the Angels are taking care of those, and I’ll be as good as new when I’m done.

I’m sure I’m the dog you’re looking to adopt! So go ahead and complete an adoption application and come meet me.
