Truest

FOSTERING - Fostering an animal means taking in and caring for a pet on a temporary basis, while the pet is waiting to be adopted.

Meet Truest. He is a neutered, 10 month old, 25 pound, Mountain Feist. What’s that you might say? Read on:

“The Mountain Feist is a dog breed that was bred in the rural South of the United States of America to be a hunting dog of small vermin – specifically a “treeing dog,” which means the type of hunting dog that chases above-ground, rather than digging underground….they also do well with active families with ample backyards.”

Truest is a sweet, gentle soul, but definitely a PUPPY. He likes to play, but may be a bit much for younger children – he has puppy energy. He barks when he gets excited (when he sees squirrels!). And he is working on his potty training and is almost house broken. Walks OK on a leash, but will definitely need some training. He loves to have head scratches!
