Meet Ally, one of the amazing foster parents who make this whole thing we do at Angels
Among Us Pet Rescue possible.
Ally joined us in 2023 after she had been looking to adopt a second dog and was shocked by the
reality of the shelter crisis. She purchased her first home the same year, and though she didn’t
have the resources to run the sanctuary of her dreams, she knew what a huge difference she
could make — one dog at a time.
While Ally adopted her second fur-kid from a different organization, she was inspired by
another Angels Rescue foster she had connected with during the process and shortly decided to
join our family herself!
In addition to the volunteer work she has done to help streamline our technology, processes,
and public outreach, she has fostered 15 dogs — all of whom have successfully found their
forever homes with wonderful families! The lives of these pets and people have been forever
changed by her dedication and generosity.
This is no small commitment: Ally’s work with these pets involves vet visits, grooming
appointments, patience, and community involvement to advocate for these animals. She is
passionate about saving lives and shining a positive light on pet rescue — and exceptional
fosters like her are the only reason that we’ve been able to save over 20,000 animals in need.
