Meet one of our awesome volunteer fosters, Danielle!
Danielle has been with Angels since 2013. Since working with us, she has been able to help
nearly 100 dogs find their happy endings!
She has a long history with fostering, and decided to start again when she realized that she and
her pups loved helping abused dogs recover and get a new shot at life. Not everyone is
comfortable providing the support and patience that is so vital to these sweet souls, and it means
everything to them (and to us!) that she and her dogs are willing to help. The process of getting a
broken dog to come out of their shell and learn to trust, love, and just savor being a dog again
fills Danielle’s heart with joy and fulfillment.
In addition to fostering, she also supports Angels by performing temperament tests with potential
intakes, bringing her own dogs along to help assess if new rescues are ready to enter our
program. Her friends say she can’t say no when it comes to dogs — and we wouldn’t have it any
other way!
We are truly lucky that she found us through a simple internet search, and that she has had such a
profound effect in both rescuing as well as building community with other volunteers and
adopters. We all share a passion for helping animals, and generous, passionate people like
Danielle allow us to make that vision come true.
Thank you for being a part of our rescue family for over a decade, Danielle!
